My Story

These 2 beauties are being rehomed due to an eviction. Both girls are dog-friendly, house-trained, and also crate-trained.
CHYNA (the black one) will be 2 years old, August of 2024. She is fairly well-behaved and loves her comfort. She’s not rough, however, she is very hyper – moves fast & is a bit paranoid. Not quiet at all, and is a great alarm dog. She barks at any and everything. She won’t bark in your face. However, she has been known to smell you vigorously,
SUNDAE (the brown one) is estimated to be 3-5 years old. She is super calm and loves being pampered. She loves affection, and will give you space when you request it. She is very special, and seems HUMAN. She does resource guard her food a bit with Chyna. She won’t fight over it, but will growl and “put her foot down.”
The pups are currently accustomed to living in an apartment. What we would like most for them is someone(s) who will love them, and engage them with walks, and/or additional enrichment activity. We are also seeking someone familiar with the breed.
FULL TRANSPARENCY:
These girls are up to date with their vaccines, and tested heartworm negative LAST YEAR. They however, have NOT been on monthly heartworm prevention, so there is a possibility that one or both of them tests positive prior to adopting out. In the interest of time, we are posting prior to the testing. Additionally, heartworms are treatable. The good news is they are inside dogs, however, we all know that mosquitoes (which are the transmitters of heartworms) do not discriminate between indoor and outdoor dogs. However, being indoors most of the time, does limit their exposure/risk overall.
If you would like to know more about these girls, feel free to send an email inquiry, or if you find yourself seriously interested (because dobie lovers typically know exactly what they want), please complete an application per the link below.

Our hope is that we find an amazing home S-O-O-N. More pics and/or videos are coming soon. In the interest of time, we just want to spread the word that these 2 are seeking a new home/family, and post pics later.

Both pups are currently in Houston, TX, and are available for transport to your area. The cost of transport is ALREADY INCLUDED in the adoption fee. And the ONE ADOPTION FEE includes both dogs.
